How HivePredict works
Every market is a shared pot. You back an outcome by staking HIVE, HBD or a Hive-Engine token, and when the market resolves, the whole pot is split among everyone who backed the right outcome, in proportion to their stake. There is no bookmaker and no fixed odds; the crowd sets the price.
Say a market holds 50 HIVE on YES and 50 HIVE on NO, and you have 10 HIVE on YES. If YES wins, your 10 is a fifth of the winning side, so you collect a fifth of the full 100 HIVE pot: 20 HIVE before the platform fee.
