What is HivePredict?

HivePredict is a parimutuel prediction market platform built on the Hive blockchain. Users stake tokens on the outcome of real-world events (crypto prices, sports results, and more) and winners split the pool.

Why Hive?

Every action on HivePredict (market creation, predictions, cash-outs, resolutions, and payouts) is recorded on the Hive blockchain via custom_json operations. The blockchain is the source of truth: the backend is a read-only indexer. This means all activity is publicly auditable and tamper-proof.

Key Features

• Parimutuel pooling: no order book, no market makers. Odds are determined by pool composition.
• Multiple token support: markets can use HIVE, HBD, or any Hive Engine token (LEO, SPS, etc.). Built-in dSwap integration lets you swap HIVE to the required token on the fly.
• Auto & manual resolution: price markets resolve via CoinGecko and Investing.com, supported sports leagues resolve via The Odds API, and other markets are resolved manually with community proof submission.
• Anti-whale design: per-market stake caps apply equally to all accounts.
• Principal protection: winners always receive at least their original stake back.
• Transparent fees: 3% platform fee, capped by the losing side.
• Responsible gambling: monthly spending limits, self-exclusion, and cooldown periods.
