Will Judge Gonzalez Rogers rule in favor of Elon Musk on liability in Musk v. Altman?

Elon Musk sued Sam Altman, Greg Brockman, OpenAI, and Microsoft in 2024 over OpenAI's conversion from a nonprofit to a for-profit structure. The trial began April 27, 2026 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, Oakland, with Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers presiding. Resolves YES if Judge Gonzalez Rogers issues a written ruling finding any of the defendants (OpenAI, Altman, Brockman, or Microsoft) liable on any of the remaining claims (breach of charitable trust, unjust enrichment, or aiding and abetting breach of charitable trust). Resolves NO if any of the following occur: - Judge issues a written ruling finding all defendants not liable on all remaining claims - The court enters a directed verdict for the defendants (including on statute of limitations grounds) - The case is dismissed before a liability ruling is issued - The parties settle without an admission or finding of liability before a ruling is issued
