Auto-Resolution
Auto-Resolution
Auto-resolution markets are resolved automatically by the platform using external data sources. No manual intervention is needed.
Crypto Price Markets
Price markets resolve via CoinGecko spot feeds for crypto and Investing.com market data for supported commodities such as gold, silver, copper, WTI crude, and Brent. The market specifies a price target and comparison operator (e.g., “BTC ≥ $100,000” or “Gold ≥ $5,000”), and the backend checks the price at resolution time.
Sports Markets
Sports markets for supported leagues resolve via The Odds API using final scores. Supported leagues:
- NBA (Basketball)
- NFL (American Football)
- NHL (Ice Hockey)
- MLB (Baseball)
- NRL (Rugby League, Australia)
- AFL (Australian Rules Football)
- English Premier League (Soccer)
Sports auto-resolution supports three bet types:
- Moneyline: which team wins (YES if team A wins, NO if team B wins)
- Spread: does the favored team cover the point spread handicap?
- Total: is the combined score over or under a given number?
How It Works
- The backend periodically checks pending auto-resolution markets.
- When data is available (price or final score), the system suggests an outcome.
- If the event is inconclusive (e.g., postponed or draw/push in a sport that doesn’t have a draw market), it is flagged for manual review.
